Founded on August 22, 1964 for the Swiss National Exhibition, the Patrouille Suisse is the official aerobatic team of the Swiss Air Force based at the Emmen military airfield.

The Patrouille Suisse initially counted 4 Hawker Hunter Mk. 58 and since 1994 flies six US Northrop F-5 Tiger II in red and white, the colours of the Swiss flag with a white cross underneath the plane.
Lately, Breitling has strengthened the relationship with the Patrouille Suisse by becoming partner and the official watch.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the aerobatic formation in 1994, Breitling had launched a limited edition of the Navitimer. In 2014, to celebrate the 50th anniversary, Breitling presented a limited edition of the Chronomat 44 GMT.

The pilots of the Patrouille Suisse wear the Breitling Emergency chronographs both in the skies and in daily life, as do pilots of many other aerobatic teams. Breitling has in fact official ties with the most prestigious formations areas in the world: the Frecce Tricolori (Italy), the Red Arrows (United Kingdom), the Patrulla Aguila (Spain) and the Thunderbirds (USA).

Each have been supplied with Breitling timepieces and the Maison of the brand with the winged logo has devoted several watches to these elite air units. Now this will lead to an even closer cooperation and soon a new exclusive model dedicated to the Swiss formation will be released.

Bedetti, official Breitling dealer, awaits you in their shop to admire the entire collection of the brand with the winged logo.
