Among the news presented at Baselworld 2016 stands out the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-02T. A creation of Haute Horlogerie with titanium flying tourbillon movement and hand-made carbon from 4 watchmakers and entirely designed, developed and produced by the manufacture of Chevenez.

The Heuer Carrera-02T is the symbol of  the accessible luxury so dear to TAG Heuer,  indeed it is the only COSC-certified automatic chronograph with tourbillon of the Swiss industry under 15,000 Euros. Available in a limited edition of 250 numbered copies in the Black Phantom version costs only a little bit more than 18,000 euro.

The design skeletonized, stylish and contemporary is typical of the new generation Carrera: emptied bridges around the open-work hours, geometric bridges. The inspiration is that of the CH-80 chronograph, while the tourbillon is inspired by that of the Monaco V4 pulsates at the frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and ensures significant reserve to charge for a tourbillon, more than 65 hours.

The watch case measures 45 mm in diameter and it is made of 5th grade titanium - black in Black version Phantom - it consists of 12 separate elements. The bezel is in black titanium with tachometer instead the crown is in steel and rubber molding. The black skeleton dial with baton hour markers and hands with inserts of Super-LumiNova has a glossy or satin finish and features two chronograph counters 30 minutes at 3 and 12 hours to 9.
 Water resistant to 100 meters it features a matt black alligator strap sewn with tonal stitching on black rubber with closure "clasp" titanium which gives it a sporty look, class, unmistakably TAG Heuer.
