The Malte collection with the characteristic tonneau rounded shape recalls the symbol of the Maison and embodies the creativity and elegance that have always distinguished Vacheron Constantin.

Recently this collection, redesigned in 2012, has been enriched by two references: the Malte Moon Phase and Power Reserve and Malte Tourbillon Skeleton. Both bear the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva and feature a contoured shape ingrained in the aesthetic heritage of Vacheron Constantin since 1912. The case is rose gold and features a brown alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in the shape of a half Maltese cross.

The case of the Malte Moon Phase and Power Reserve measures 36.7 times 48.1 mm and features a caliber 1410 manual winding. Moon phases and power reserve indicator decorate the frosted silver dial and are slightly rounded. The hands are thin gold as are the hour markers indicated with Roman numerals at 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock. The moon phase mechanism, also known as "astronomical moon", requires only one correction every 122 years.

The Malte Tourbillon Skeleton has a shaped case of 38 times 48.24 mm which frames a tourbillon movement in the shape of the Maltese Cross completely skeletonized and engraved by hand. A play of light and shadow that allows the 2790 SQ caliber Vacheron Constantin to unveil an original architectural decoration playing with geometric shapes. The result is a three-dimensional mosaic, wholly hand chiseled result of over 540 hours of work for the realization and assembly of its 246 components. Rose gold coated, the extraordinary mechanism that moves the hours, minutes, seconds, date display and power reserve is visible through a transparent sapphire glass framed by a silver ring and punctuated by 11 baton hour markers and a Roman numeral for 12 hours also in rose gold.
