TAG Heuer has recently presented a special edition of the Carrera series dedicated to Muhammad Ali.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 RING Master Muhammad Ali was unveiled in New York - at the historic boxing Club Gleason's Gym in DUMBO - during a charity event in favour of the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville. The guests were welcomed by the TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of the Watches Division of the LVMH Group, and Muhammad Ali's wife, Lonnie Ali. The auction included a briefcase containing a golden TAG Heuer watch accompanied by a pair of boxing gloves signed by Muhammad Ali, which has topped $ 119,000.

Inspired by the famous Heuer Ring-Master stopwatch, the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 RING Master Muhammad Ali has 7 rings, each with a measuring scale for a sport, one of them for boxing of course. It is available in two versions: one for professional fights of 15 rounds, 3 minutes each with 1 minute break, the other, for amateur fights of 15 rounds of 2 minutes each with 1 minute break.

The steel version is already available on the Italian market with 100 copies. It mounts an automatic Calibre 5 movement with date at 6. It has a 43mm steel case and case-back engraving of a portrait of Muhammad Ali. Also, it is water resistant up to 100 meters. The strap is perforated black leather with a folding clasp.

Bedetti, official TAG Heuer dealer, is waiting for you in their store in Piazza San Silvestro to present you all the novelties of the brand of La Chaux-de-Fonds.
