Rolex through numerous sponsorship programs has always supported cinema, arts and sports and encourages business spirit and environmental protection.

The Swiss Maison, following these principles, has become a partner of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni of Rome, which from Saturday 24 June to Sunday 17 September 2017 hosts the Italian stage of the "Hollywood Icons" exhibition. An exhibition that collects photographs from the John Kobal Foundation, 161 portraits of the greatest names in film history: Charlie Chaplin, Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni just to name a few. Real masterpieces of photography taken during the golden age of cinema.

From September 5th to September 17th at the Rolex exhibition, the Rolex Day-Date Exhibition will be present: the installation dedicated to the prestigious and exclusive Oyster Perpetual Day-Date. In history, Rolex's Day-Date was worn by many presidents, personalities, actors and leaders around the world. Just as Rolex celebrates cinema icons, it also celebrates a time icon since Day-Date is the summit and the historic emblem of its watch art. Accuracy, Reliability, Readability, and Outstanding Performance give this model the status of prestigious watch par excellence

Next week we will post photos of the stay-tuned kermesse.
