Founded in 1884 in Switzerland by engineer Leon Breitling, the company of the same name has always been a leader in making pilot watches with strong references to the world of aviation. Among the novelties this year the Swiss brand presented a three hands and two chronographs inspired by the Curtiss P40 Warhawk.

We are talking about the Breitling Aviator 8 Automatic 41 Curtiss Warhawk, the Breitling Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk and the Breitling Aviator 8 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk. The P40 Warhawk is a single-seat bomber fighter produced between 1938 and 1944 by the Curtiss Airplane and Motor Company of Buffalo (New York). Famous for its legendary sturdiness and for the great shark mouth painted on the Flying Tigers of the Chinese Air Force piloted by members of the AmericanVolunteer Group.
The Aviator 8 Automatic 41 Curtiss Warhawk is powered by the Breitling 17 caliber, a movement based on ETA 2824-2 with hours, minutes, seconds and a date at 6 o'clock with a power reserve of about 40 hours. The bidirectional rotating bezel has a red pointer, the same color as the central second hand terminal.

The Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk has a military green dial with a satin finish, contrasting silver counters and is animated by the Breitling 01 manufacture caliber. A mechanical movement with a 70 hour power reserve. The back of the case is made of transparent sapphire crystal, allowing you to glimpse the movement with the words "Curtiss" and the image of a P-40 Warhawk in flight with the large and evocative mouth painted on its snout.

The Breitling Aviator 8 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk always has a military green dial, but the meters are tone-on-tone. It is powered by the Breitling 13 caliber, chronograph movement based on ETA Valjoux 7750 with indication of date and day of the week. The caseback is like that of the Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk.

All three timepieces are paired with a military green strap and chronographs, also available with steel bracelets, are certified by COSC.

Bedetti, official dealer of the Grenchen fashion house, is waiting for you at its sales point in Piazza San Silvestro to show you all the Breitling news.
