Longines celebrates 10 years of the new Heritage Legend Diver
The latest version of the Longines Heritage Legend Diver celebrates the first 10 years since the re-release of this watch. One of the best reproductions of the original model designed in the 1960s and one of the bestsellers of the Heritage collection. An underwater watch that has made the story of St.Imier's Maison, still today widely appreciated by collectors around the world.
In this latter version, Longines introduced a Milano-mesh bracelet more waterproof than the fabric strap and with a greater versatility than the rubber strap. The 42mm stainless steel case houses the automatic gauge 2824-2 internally indicated as the L633 gauge. A robust and precise movement with 28,800 hourly alternations and 38 hour charge reserve built by ETA's official Swatch Group supplier.
The dial with swinging bezel is black gloss lacquered. Very simple, like the original except for the date, it features glossy silver-plated silver indices and hands lined with SuperLumiNova and is protected by a sapphire crystal with multilayer anti-reflection on the inside. On the right there are two crowns: at 2 o'clock to rotate the internal crown and at 4 o'clock to adjust the time and date. The crowns and the bottom for waterproofing up to 30 bar are screwed.
The bottom case features an engraving featuring a sub and instead of the classic slit closure with a twin-screw screw closure, a closure that refers to the patented "Super Compressor" closure many years ago by Ervin Piquerez S.A. a company specializing in the manufacture of waterproof watch cases.
Bedetti, official Longines dealer awaits you at its San Silvestro Square store to introduce you its new collection: watches from the ultra-centennial tradition and timeless elegance such as the Longines Heritage Legend Diver.
