Longines presents the new Conquest V.H.P. GMT Flash Setting
The new Longines Conquest V.H.P. (acronym for Very High Precision) GMT Flash Settings are watches born to travel. Moved by a latest generation quartz movement with a dual time zone and a maximum deviation of ± 5 seconds per year.
The Conquest line was presented in 1954, when the Maison of Saint-Imier made its first quartz watch. In 1969 Ultra-Quartz was born, the first Longines movement designed to be mounted in wristwatches. The first Conquest V.H.P. with ultra-precise quartz movement instead of 1984.
The Conquest V.H.P. GMT Flash Setting is equipped with an intelligent crown, has a long battery life and a perpetual calendar up to 2399. Thanks to the DPR system (Detection of the position of the wheels) is also able to reset the hands after a bump or exposure to a magnetic field.
Through a smartphone and an application, even without connection through light sequences emitted by the flash ("Flash Setting") of the phone communicates with a window on the hidden dial in the index of 12 hours and allows time adjustment with a rigorous precision. The "swap" function allows you to view the home time or the current time zone by simply pressing the crown.
