Tag Heuer sponsor of Vela Cup
Now in its fifth edition, the TAG Heuer Vela Cup is a race open to any type of boat from three meters up and is among the most important Italian sailing circuits.
Born with the aim of uniting sailing enthusiasts and the most exclusive places on the Italian territory, it began on May 5th from Santa Margherita Ligure with a coastal path that involves the passage of a buoy placed in front of Portofino. The other stages in the program are Pisa, Venice, Porto Rafael (Sardinia), La Spezia and the last one on September 29/30 in Capo d'Orlando (Sicily).
Six appointments, six TAG Heuer watches (one per stage) drawn from the participants, six hundred boats from 5 to 30 meters, twenty thousand fans and three hundred prizes to be won by the winners of fourteen categories. These are the numbers of a great success that consolidates the ancient link between the sailing world and TAG Heuer. Suffice it to say that in 1967 Jack Heuer had the Heuer Carrera Skipper ref. 7754 - called "Skipperera" - the only Skipper model with the original Carrera 35 mm case, to celebrate the triumph of Mosbacher with the yacht The Intrepid of which TAG Heuer was sponsor. More recently he won the 34th edition of the America's Cup with the Oracle Racing Team.
Bedetti official TAG Heuer dealer is waiting for you at its store in Piazza San Silvestro to present all its news.
