Vacheron Constantin presents the l'Historiques American 1921 petit modèle
Dandy watch and fine women's watch. Icon of the 1920s. Symbol of elegance and audacity of an entire era. The American 1921 Historiques fully reflects the stylistic codes of the original model.
For several decades, Vacheron Constantin - the oldest watchmaker in the world - presents through the American Historiques collection a series of models reinterpreting the vintage style of his 20-year timepiece.
The new Historiques American 1921 (Ref. 1100S / 000R-B430) with a 18-carat pink gold cushion 5N thick is just 7.65 mm (36.5 mm) in diameter and is a low-case version (compared to the 40 mm of the first model) to the design of the original from the diagonal reading dial with decentralized crown at 1 and 30 o'clock.
The original model of the American History 1921 was made by the Geneva Residence for its passionate passenger car. The desgin was obtained by rotating counter clockwise both the dial and the movement. The silver dial has a grenade profile and Arabic miniature figures are painted in black, the hands are slim in black oxidized "pomme" with the ball of the seconds to stick. From the transparent sapphire crystal backdrop, you can admire the 4400 AS Certified by the Geneva Punzone, it has a manual charge that provides hours, minutes, and seconds for an autonomy of approximately 65 hours.
The strap is in bright red or dark brown alligator leather and is hand-sewn with large square squares and half-cross shaped Malta buckle, a historic symbol of the Maison.
