The Advisor watch with alarm is one of the most atypical patterns of TUDOR. From 1957 to 1977 it is produced in three versions: two with case type Oyster, 7926 and 1537 references, and the last with a dedicated case, reference 10050.

Since 2011, this legendary alarm clock was re-launched. Entirely revised the Heritage Advisor now has a stainless steel case and titanium grade 5 to 42 mm (the old was 34mm) and the alarm has a full sound quality.

The new Advisor resumes from its predecessor the proportions and form of the watch case, the loops, the smoothed index, dauphine hands and the red alarm hand. The two original black dials and silver if they have recently added a cognac color.

The elaborate design has five distinct elements and the contrast between the finishes creates a wealth of surfaces and reflections. Cognac on background brings out the satin sunburst of minutes of indices, the opalescent effect of the center of the dial and the sandblasted look of the outside edge and indicator autonomy alarm.

Like all mechanical alarm clocks case presents the double crown on the right side of the case. Has then as an aspect of the alarm clock at 3 o'clock and an alarm function indicator (on-off) at 9 o'clock and a steel button at 8 o'clock for the alarm to sound. In addition to the hours, minutes and seconds, the movement indicates the date on a calendar in hand at 6 o'clock A crown at 2 o'clock, engraved with the words ADVISOR, serves to set the alarm function. The winding crown at 4 o'clock, engraved with the TUDOR rose, is used to setting the time and date.

The new Heritage Advisor offers the possibility to choose between the strap in alligator leather and a stainless steel bracelet, each accompanied by an additional strap in black silk trimmed with satin like finish Tuxedos. This strap, typical of the Heritage line, is made of jacquard fabric in the traditional way of centuries-old family-run company in the French region of St-Etienne

The Cognac-colored version is the Advisor for the equivalent of the Bronze version for the Black Bay. A model that contrasts with the original dials, a romantic clock.
