On Thursday, October 8, Bedetti 1882 and Maison Fred will celebrate their 90th anniversary in the elegant setting of Palazzo Dama, in the heart of Rome. Having collaborated for over ten years, Bedetti 1882 has created an exclusive experience for its customers, allowing them to discover the history and values of Maison Fred through its photographic archive, preserved stories, and the jewels that are part of its heritage. For ninety years, Fred has expressed its savoir-faire with unique, distinctive, and dazzling creations, earning it the nickname “The Sunshine Jeweler.”

On this occasion, Bedetti 1882 and Fred are offering the opportunity to explore the Maison’s beginnings and the story of its founder, Fred Samuel, from whom the brand takes its name, a man with an ever-bold and creative spirit.

“2026 marks the 90th anniversary of the Maison’s founding. In the world of luxury and jewelry, such a milestone signifies something profound: the ability to transcend generations, eras, fashions, and transformations, remaining faithful to one’s identity while also making it increasingly contemporary over time,” says Stefano Bedetti. “The meeting of the stories of BEDETTI and FRED, which began in May 2014, has allowed us to bring here to Rome, the first in Italy, the vision, style, and energy of one of the most original Maisons in international jewelry.”

These words are accompanied by a reflection by Marcello Bedetti, who emphasizes the cultural and emotional dimension of jewelry and the value it preserves. “The story of Fred Samuel reminds us that behind a great Maison, there is first and foremost a vision, the courage to imagine. This is the true meaning of heritage: not simply preserving the past, but knowing how to transform it into inspiration for the future, linking jewelry to something profoundly human.” The meeting between Bedetti 1882 and Maison Fred thus represents much more than a commercial collaboration: it is a dialogue between two histories, two identities, and two interpretations of excellence, united by the belief that true luxury lies not only in the beauty of what one owns, but also in the meaning of what one chooses to pass on.
