Since 1884 Breitling has stood for chronograph. This Swiss brand, specialized in the production of technical watches, was one of the main protagonists in the history of the chronograph wrist watch, inventing, among other things, the two-button control system. Due to its large collection of tools for professionals, Breitling has actively contributed to the development of sports, science and industry: cutting-edge sectors in an era characterized by speed and by records. Time today is not counted in days, hours and minutes but in seconds and fractions of a second. In 1999 its search for precision led Breitling to have all its movements certified as chronometers: a world-first among the big names in watchmaking.
