Symbols of a classic and universal style, the Oyster Perpetual watches offer the essential functions: hours, minutes and seconds.
Deeply rooted in the pioneering tradition of Rolex, these models embody timeless form and function. They are the expression of the timepiece in its purest form.
Oyster Perpetual watches are direct descendants of the original Oyster, the first waterproof wristwatch by Rolex, on which the brand has built its reputation since 1926. A certified Superlative Chronometer, the Oyster Perpetual features all the key characteristics of the Oyster Perpetual collection – excellent chronometric precision, the waterproof Oyster case, and self-winding of the movement via a Perpetual rotor. Understated and elegant, this timepiece is known for its universal, classic style.
The Oyster Perpetual stands out with dials in various colours, subtle or vibrant: a range of different faces, always sporting a contemporary look. Some of the dials, for instance slate or silver, feature a sunray finish, while others, in shades such as blue stone, green stone, brown stone, candy pink, green, turquoise blue, med blue or black, are lacquered. Other dials are lacquered and have a matt finish, such as the beige, lavender or pistachio variants. Other versions can be made of iridescent white mother-of-pearl or feature a multicolour Jubilee motif achieved by pad-printing. The Oyster Perpetual’s dials suit any style, whatever it may be.
The models are paired with a three-piece link Oyster bracelet, which is secure and comfortable. It is equipped with a folding Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link, developed by Rolex, that enables the wearer to adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm.
The Oyster Perpetual is offered in Oystersteel or 18 ct gold. To mark the 100th anniversary of the original Oyster, a yellow Rolesor version was unveiled in 2026. The Oyster Perpetual comes in five sizes – 28, 31, 34, 36 and 41 mm – providing the largest choice of diameters for a Rolex range.
The Oyster Perpetual is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive designation is issued to each watch leaving the Rolex workshops, attesting to its excellent performance on the wrist. This in-house certification is strictly controlled by internationally recognized, independent Swiss entities.
The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
